Assistant Coach
Assistant Coach
Coaching is one of the most rewarding ways to be involved in Girls on the Run (GOTR). As a GOTR assistant coach, you get to experience the program first-hand and feel a sense of accomplishment about making a difference in the lives of the girls. You will work alongside a head coach with a team of 3rd-5th grade girls, assisting with implementing lessons two times per week for a total of 12 weeks. You will conclude the 12 weeks by attending a 5k run with your girls and putting together an end-of-the-season celebration.
Who is a GOTR Assistant Coach?
GOTR Assistant Coaches are dynamic, enthusiastic, passionate women and men of all backgrounds! Some are athletes; some are not. Some are runners; some are walkers. Some have coached; some have never coached. All are committed to empowering girls with valuable life lessons.
